Join us as we kick off our new season with the incomparable voice of nationally recognized soprano Corey Lovelace. She is accompanied by our very own Sophia Pavlenko. This evening highlights art songs written through the 19th and early 20th centuries by the German masters. Throughout the Romantic Era, German songs (lieder) were considered the pinnacle of refined artistic achievement in the world. Featured on this concert are some of the finest examples ever composed by Schubert, Schumann, Liszt and Strauss.
